Day3 (Macau)

I'm gonna start on my Day Three!!!
Hang on ppl! I'm half way thru the posts (6days)!

Of course, no exception.
Our day started of with the breakfast.

The Chee Cheong Fun there is very different from what we have in Singapore.
I still prefer the one in Singapore.
Guess I was already feeling Home-Sick by the 3rd day.

Looked like a glutton here trying to get some porridge.

The public housing in Hong Kong.
I wonder why don't they wanna repaint the outer walls.
I'm sure it'll look more pleasant.

Making our way to the Mong Kok MTR station.

Got a ticket & off to Tsim Sha Tsui!

We din really know the direction to China Ferry Terminal,
so this map came in handy.

We tried asking the locals over there as well.
They were very helpful! :)

& in no time, we finally got to our destination.
China Ferry Terminal!

Oh yes, not forgetting to tell you guys.
We're going to MACAU!!!

Bought the ferry ticket(s).

The journey from Hong Kong to Macau takes around an hour.
So what I did on the ferry?
Sleep.

Yayy!!!
Finally, Macau!!!
And fyi, we're not there to gamble our money away.
We're going there for some sightseeing.

So from New Macau Maritime Terminal, we took a shuttle bus over to Venetian Macao.

On the way there.....
They have very loooooonnnnggggg expressways.

Oh ya!
And that's Macau Tower!
Those of you who are adventurous enough, you can go try bungy jump!
Else, you can go for the Skywalk X.
Both of these activities needs courage for you to go up to the top.

After the 20mins journey,
we've reached Venetian Macao.

Which is able to lead us to The Grand Canal Shoppes!

Look how great the internal structure can look so good!
We call it, Little Venice!

They have many shops there.

One of it will be The Manchester United Experience!
I think it's the paradise for all Man U fans!
They have a large selection of Manchester United merchandise outside of the Old Trafford.
From the clothing, footballs, badges, pins pennants, etc.

They even have a ManU Experience upstairs in the store whereby you can test your skills in the five training pods and compare your scores!

Enough of Man U.
What I like over at The Grand Canal Shoppes is that they even have Gondola!

No trip to Venice? No worries! :)
Your trip will also be completed with a graceful and romantic glide down one of the three canals in an authentic Venetian gondola, accompanied by a singing gondolier.

They even have restaurants at the side of the canals.

This is just a kind of imitation of Venice.
I can't believe how Venice will look like in real.
I think it'll be gorgeous!

Panorama.

The mommies.

A short explanation why Macau has so many European structures.
It's because Macau was being rules by the Portuguese colony.
And before it has its name Macau, it's called Haojing.

After our trip at The Grand Canal Shoppes, let's head outdoor!

Ruins of St. Paul's!
Was known as Cathedral of St. Paul in the past.
The façade of the Ruins of St. Paul’s measures 23 metres across and 25.5 metres high.

Some of those artsy shots.

That was all it left after being destroyed by a fire 3times!
A piece of wall.

People throwing coins over the wall thinking that they could make a wish, and the wish will come true. -.-

I like this photo.
Both of them looked cute, right?

Continued walking down the streets after stopping over the Ruins of St Paul's.

They have a Naraya outlet which is 3-storey high!

Grabbed a drink before continuing.

We came to this shop which was filled with people.

They hand-made they're pastries!

While our mums were doing their shopping in there, cheryl and I came out of the shop, and cheryl bought a portuguese egg tart.

People said that is a must buy if we go to Macau!

Our mums are done with their buys, like 'yay!'.

Our trip to Macau ended with the trip to this church.

There we go again, an hour trip back to hong kong. -.-
The waves were strong that when we waited to alight from the ferry, we couldn't even stand properly. Kinda scary.

Back to the hotel and leave all the goodies that we bought.

Dinner was over at this shop where it's always filled with customers.
We thought the food there might be good, so we gave it a try.

Here we were.
Look at the expressions on their faces.
Yay or Nay?

That's the leftovers.

It tasted weird to us.
The moment they served us our noodles, the smell could really kill me.
I could only go "omg."
I hate the smell & taste of celery.
Celery lovers might love it.

We left with finishing the noodles.
I wonder how the locals there could finish the how bowl by themselves.
We couldn't even finish 2 bowls, shared by 4 person!

If you're thinking why cheryl and I wore specs, it's because we're planning to go over to Ladies' Market again, and hopefully we wont be recognized by those Tiongs who might kill us for bargaining.

Dinner wasn't very fulfilling, so we had desserts as dinner.

Mango again.
We had mango almost everyday over there!

Yayyyy!!!
I'm done with Day 3!
