Parchment Pasta @ Pizza Hut!

It's the First time I'm being invited by Nuffnang for a food tasting session at Pizza Hut!!!!
So, I was kinda excited. On the other hand, I was a little scared cause I'll be all alone!!!
The food tasting session was over at the Pizza Hut in Suntec City.

Was greeted by the friendly staff when I stepped into Pizza Hut asking them whether the tasting session was here.
They kindly brought me over to the seat and immediately, they gave me a menu and asked me to order a drink first while waiting for the food to be served.

I've gotten myself Berri Sparkle!!! :)

Anyway, our purpose for the day was to have a taste of the 2 pastas which are not even on the menu yet!!! *honoured* & yes! it's the Parchment Pasta!!! ***They have launched the Parchment Pasta on the 25th August 2010!!!****

Pizza Hut is “cooking up” pastas in paper.
Two new interesting Pasta Parchment or En Papillote (which means “cooked in paper”) will be
unwrapped to whet the consumers’ appetite and showcase their seriousness in making great quality pastas.
Usually, only authenticate Italian Restaurants will cook the Pastas in paper.
By wrapping the pastas in the paper and cooking it, it'll trap the taste and make the pastas taste better!

Started to chat around with the other bloggers whom I've never met before, and some of them came alone too!
Took some pictures while waiting for the PASTA!!!

All of us thought it's only going to be pastas that we're going to taste, never expect them to kindly shared with us their salad, appetisers, drinks & desserts~

:)

First up!
They served us their Signature Salad,
Photobucket
They seafood tofu was very nice, and with the sauce that's being poured into the salad, it increases our appetite after eating it!
All ready for the pastas!!! :)

The salad was followed up with Hut's Platter!
Photobucket

and, Chicken Riblets!
Many people only know of Sweet 'N' Spicy Drumlets that's available in Pizza Hut,
but little know there's the Chicken Riblets which is very tasty too!!! Comparable with the drumlets! You should try it! :)
Photobucket

And finally.......................
CHAR-GRILLED CHICKEN PARCHMENT!!!!
Photobucket
Very nicely wrapped with a peg for the customers to bring home after eating!
*A very thoughtful souvenir for customers to keep after having the pasta!*

Time to unwrap!!! TADAH!!!!!
Photobucket Photobucket

When they told me it was a cream-based pasta, the first thing I thought was, " Is pasta going to taste like those Carbonara pasta which is very creamy? " *I dislike milky stuff*
Nope!! All my worries are for nothing.
In fact, this pasta doesn't have a strong milky taste.

A fragrance coming out when you unwrapped it! :)
It has the buttery taste plus a little flavour from the garlic, and you wont get sick of it unlike those milky pastas. *Thumbs-up!*

Served with very tender chicken!
Importantly! The chicken tasted REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!
Has very generous servings of the chicken! :)

Not enough of it?
Wait till you try the next pasta that's coming up!

& while waiting for the next pasta to be served, I checked on the facebook and there's a post which caught my attention.
It's from the Pizza Hut!
They said their having a special product launching the next day, and people were guessing!
I already knew what it is, and I'm tasting it at THAT MOMENT!!!!! *muahahhaahhahaha!!!*

Next pasta coming up!!!!!
*drumroll please~*
